How should I get my images/pictures ready to be uploaded to my Personal Images? Is there a specific file type or size requirement?

Pictures that are not "web ready" should be edited on your local computer before uploading using a graphic editing software like Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Microsoft Paint or any other graphics editing program of your choosing. All images should be saved in either .GIF or .JPG (JPEG) format. Pictures should be no larger than 240 pixels in width (about 3.33 inches) for your articles and no larger than 120 pixels in width (1.66 inches) for a Teaser paragraph image. It is best to make sure images are about 15kb or less for fast loading Web pages.

Don't have any image editing software? Google offers a free program called Picasa. Click here to visit the Picasa home page.
